With Rainbow Hare #2, I embarked on a journey beyond the delicate brushwork of its predecessor, aiming for a bold and vibrant portrayal.

Immerse yourself in the Rainbow Hare #2.

My initial approach involved applying striking white brushstrokes over a black base layer, creating a stark contrast. Building upon this foundation, I introduced a glaze of transparent colours, yielding unexpected yet delightful effects as the hues seamlessly blended and flowed into one another.

This happy experiment bore fruit, sparking a newfound burst of creativity that inspired further exploration and experimentation. The captivating interplay of colours served as a catalyst for the creation of additional works.

Rainbow Hare #2 will add a stunning accent to your space.

I must also draw attention to the striking orange bloom adorning the top right-hand corner of Rainbow Hare #2. Achieved through meticulous dry-brushing over a red underpainting, it evokes the image of a radiant sunburst or perhaps a cloud of steamy breath on a crisp morning. Once again, serendipity played its part in shaping the final outcome, adding an unexpected dimension to the artwork.

Our Fine-Art Prints use archival papers in two weights. For everything up to – and including – our ‘Signature Editions’, we use 210gsm Fotospeed Smooth; a versatile paper that offers exceptional contrast and detail. For the larger ‘Premium Editions’, we use Fotospeed’s 315gsm NST. Thanks to subtle textures similar to traditional etching papers, coupled to bright-white bases, both of these 100%-cotton, fine-art papers deliver revelatory, impactful images that will stand the test of time. Furthermore, we only ever use OEM inks that are rich in pigments & offer a consistent level of reproduction.
