In the heart of a serene grassy glade, a mystical Dryad, accompanied by her loyal Spirit Animal, the Red Fox, savors a moment of tranquility. The fox, adorned with a resplendent golden helmet, showcases its exquisite craftsmanship, while the Dryad, adorned with Celtic-inspired wrist and armbands, radiates an ethereal beauty accentuated by delicate jewellery that contrasts against her fiery red locks. It is no surprise that the fox finds solace in her company, bound by an unspoken kinship.
Nestled between them lies the Dryad’s hunting staff, a masterfully carved emblem adorned with the King’s colors and topped with a luminous bubble housing a glow-worm, a testament to their symbiotic relationship with the natural world.
However, their idyllic reprieve is soon disrupted by the unexpected arrival of a quail bearing a special delivery, a meticulously sealed scroll suspended within a tiny harness. The contents of this scroll remain a mystery, sparking curiosity and speculation. Could it be a summons to the Royal Court, beckoning them to embark on a new adventure? The possibilities are endless, leaving the interpretation open to the imagination of the beholder, inviting them to weave their own narrative into the intricate tapestry of this enchanting scene.
Throughout my journey as an artist, I’ve tried various surfaces & colours… From acrylics on boxed canvas to the refined oils on board I now employ. Each combination wields a distinct influence over the final outcome. Canvas imbues a rustic charm, its weave adding texture. For intricate details, only oil on board suffices, offering subtle nuances and unmatched ability to blend.
