In the distant, icy realms of our fantastical world reside the Emperor Penguins; creatures typically bewildered by the wonders of ‘Incantations’. Yet, some among them, driven by an insatiable curiosity, have ascended to the esteemed title of Mages.
These Mages, when not engaged in their arcane pursuits, guide their Apprentices through rigorous studies. From blending potent spell ingredients to delving into ancient lore, the journey of an apprentice culminates in the creation of their Magnum Opus: a spell of their own design.
In ‘Incantations’, we witness a Master Mage in his icy cavern, bathed in pale moonlight and adorned in ceremonial robes. With his Apprentice’s Grimoire in hand, he prepares to assess the culmination of years of dedication.
As the incantations echo through the cavern, ethereal wisps of enchantment emerge from the pages, weaving a captivating ritual. The outcome of this spell, and the success of the Apprentice, remains uncertain, inviting contemplation on the nature of striving and testing in life.
Please note that ‘Incantations’ was crafted as a unique artwork, with no prints ever to be made. We meticulously selected a pewter/silver frame to complement the painting, enhancing its allure. We hope you find joy in its beauty and intrigue.
Our Fine-Art Prints come on two kinds of archival paper. For everything up to – and including – our ‘Medium’ size, we use 210GSM Fotospeed Smooth Art; a paper that offers exceptional contrast and detail. Because our larger, more prestigious prints need to be more impactful, we use Fotospeed’s 315GSM NST. Thanks to the gentle texture and bright-white base of this 100% cotton, fine art paper, it consequently delivers a wide colour gamut. The Fine Art Trade Guild have also certified these two papers. In conjunction with our pigment-rich inks, we therefore deliver a lifetime’s worth of enjoyment!
