Small & Standard prints are mounted front & rear and slipped into a waterproof bag. The envelopes used for this sizes, are also cardboard-backed for safety. Larger Prints are wrapped in either a protective film or tissue-paper and shipped in a sturdy tube. For Original Work, we generally construct a custom mailer from double-walled cardboard & smother the work in bubble-wrap. We’ve sent work to Australia and can report it arrived unblemished!
For orders to the UK, we ship via Royal Mail Second Class with the option of 48-hour Tracked & Signed-For.
Delivery usually takes 2-5 working days; however during the Christmas period it can take up to 8 working days. If you require an item urgently please contact us, as we may be able to offer Next Day Delivery for an extra charge. NB: If we’re running a promotion, items will generally be assembled & despatched in weekly batches, so items might take up to 14 days…

For Orders to the EU… thanks to a revision to the EU’s General Product Safety Regulation (‘GPSR’), we’ve had to suspend sales to the EU from December 13th, 2024. Until this can be proven beyond reasonable doubt, not to to be the case it would appear that we, along with countless other businesses in the arts & wider creative sector, can’t ship Fine-Art Prints, Original paintings and the like, to the EU without first obtaining a certificate from an ‘Authorised Agent’ already resident in the EU.
For each image & ‘product type’…
What this means in practice, is that we would need to find, verify and appoint an agent capable of certifying our products. Current rates? About €150 per-product… So with over fifty different images currently in the Otherwurlde Collection, that works out at €7500 for a single print of every image in just one size! Not only that, the increased admin & associated costs and the drain on our time, just means it’s no longer viable to send…
We deeply value our EU customers and wish that this wasn’t the case, but such changes are beyond our control and – seemingly – beyond the wit of our politicians, for whom such struggles appear to be invisible & trivial. Once again, the UK’s vaunted ‘creative industries’ – the vanguard of the much heralded, post-Brexit industrial revival – have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Well done, everyone. Well done.
If you wanted proof of just how bad Brexit was going to be for small businesses, you need look no further: and we’re just one teeny-tiny business! So that’s where we are in December, 2024. If things change – and let’s hope that sense & reason prevail soon – then we have no choice but to suspend sales to the EU for the time being…
For Shipping to the Rest of the World, we use Royal Mail International Standard.
Order Tracking to the UK and Rest of the World: If you require tracking on an order, then we will charge you an additional fee – it’s how we keep Free Delivery on everything else.
Delivery: Your order will be delivered to you during office hours (9-5pm), Monday to Friday. We are unfortunately unable to specify the time at which the goods will be delivered to you; that’s down to your local postal delivery operation. With Second Class / International Standard, a signature will NOT be required on delivery of the goods. If you opt for Tracking, then a signature will likely be required.
Availability: If for some reason part or all your order is out of stock we will contact you with the estimated delivery date. All deliveries are subject to stock availability and authorisation of your payment.
Delivery Address: We can either deliver your order to the billing address for the card you use to pay for your order, or you can specify an alternative address.
Gift-Wrapping: Our apologies, but we DO NOT offer a gift-wrapping service.
